I think that's a crab??
Yes, it is a crab shell. Let me grab it.
This summer we've been exploring all these amazing beaches. This secluded beach has been my favorite so far. There were a couple of bald eagles flying around us, a deer came running out and I touched my first crab. My parents couldn't believe how daring I was touching the crab. They were afraid the crab would pinch me. They also couldn't take me out of the water. As you can see from these pictures, they weren't intending for me to get in the water so they didn't bring my swimsuit. But once I saw the water, I instantly gravitated towards it. When we were done for the day, I crashed out on our way home.

Zack is impressed that Sophia is such a brave crab-toucher!!!! And, he says not to worry about Hailey... she's just a phase. :P We all miss you!!!
