This is the tree that my dad cut down

We still can't believe that my dad carried the tree down for 2 miles. I know his hand and shoulders were hurting at the end

Most people just go to Home Depot or their nearest tree lot to pick out their Christmas Tree....well my dad wanted to hike into the Olympic Mountains to cut down our tree. The Olympic mountains is an hour away from Bainbridge Island. We hiked a trail that was 2 miles one way and it was all up hill. It was an intense hike. At the very end of the trail my dad spotted a perfect tree and cut it down. He then carried the tree all the way down to our car which was 2 miles. My dad was determined to find that perfect tree and he prevailed. We still shake our heads that he carried the tree all the way down the hill.
