I was totally crying as I approached the finish line
Bainbridge Island has a toddler track meet every Monday during the summer. My parents thought it would be a good idea for me to try it out and I hated it. I first started with the 50 meter dash and as soon as the announcer said go I took three strides and turned around to run to daddy. My parents thought I should participate in the 100 meter race and when they said go, I started to run and tried to turn back. Once I finally reached the finish line I was pretty much inconsolable. All I know is I will stick to playing soccer.
